             abstract = "Human nature activities are intrinsically related to the 
                         vulnerability of areas located in major populationcenters. In the 
                         case of the metropolitan region of Goi{\^a}nia, actions related 
                         to human development requirecareful analysis, considering that a 
                         region becomes susceptible to any vulnerability when it is exposed 
                         to externalinterference mechanisms to it incidents. In this 
                         context the following work promotes a processing of data tothe map 
                         of environmental vulnerability of the metropolitan region of 
                         Goi{\^a}nia. The data processed for themapping of this work, 
                         where the one referring to the altimetry came from interpolations, 
                         were essential for themapping of the drainage network, facilitated 
                         the production of digital elevation models consistent 
                         hydrologicallythat made it possible to obtain other data for the 
                         mapping of vulnerability of the metropolitan region, such asthe 
                         topographic moisture index, which shows the locations where relief 
                         more retains moisture as the relief form,and may be water recharge 
                         areas or wetlands and possible flooding, factor that indicates a 
                         possible vulnerablearea. In this way, the information relating to 
                         pedology, the shallow water table or aquifer, free to use 
                         andoccupation of the soil in the basins, among others, were 
                         parameters that complemented the data for categorizedmapping 
                         environmental vulnerability to the metropolitan region of 
                         Goi{\^a}nia.",
